Because of the demands of automobile industry about quality of products (0 mistakes) management has decided to update line Förster defectomat 2.185 for testing materials.

The basis for testing are whirling currents. Whirling current is defined as circular electric current in conducting substance, which is induced by primary alternating magnetic field of coil. Testing is based upon principle of electromagnetic induction and is as such used for determination of changes in defects in material (failures, bad surface, scales, cracks,...). Excitation and detection coils are installed in measurement probes. Excitation coils produce primary alternating magnetic field, while detection coils sense it. New defectomat 2.185 analyses and saves collected data and sorts good and bad products.

Defectomat is connected with information system of production, which enables monitoring of data(PPM).
